If one were to ask Community Virtual Library Staff what one question is asked more than any other it would be some version of “what is there to do here?”

For the uninitiated, the CVL reference desk on Info Island can help. Right around the corner from the main reference desk visitors can find The Virtual World Landmark Center. This Center can be described as a kind of Second Life “travel agency."

Bored? Tired of the same old places? Just curious about what Second Life has to offer?  Check out the Virtual World Landmark Center and fly off to some place where you can relax or dance the night away. The Landmark Center has plenty to offer, with landmarks for places to dance, historic replicas, virtual nature areas, education sites as well as a topic called “Off the Beaten Path.

This collection is managed by Sihlshoot Seelowe, who has arranged it by general topic areas. Click on a poster and get a notecard filled with landmarks to interesting places all over Second Life. Sihl keeps the landmarks up to date and adds new ones. He also takes suggestions for new places!

Drop the Landmark Center and pick up a landmark adventure. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Info%20Island/137/10/35
