UWA 3D Open Art Challenge

This is the 10th of 12 monthly rounds for the UWA (University of Western Australia) 3D Open Art Challenge that will end with the grand finale in October.

The Challenge is sponsored by UWA, Open This End, Philip Vought, Bohemian Ghost and Patch Thibaud. All pieces entered across the year will be eligible to be filmed for MachinimUWA IV: Art of the Artists II, which will coincide with the grand finale announcements of this new challenge.

UWA 3D Open Art Challenge has brought together hundreds of entries from more than 40 nations from 6 of the 7 continents of the world.

This year long art challenge is open to everyone in Second Life. It is a grand collaboration among major art houses & groups in Second Life, including The University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA), SL Arts, CARP, Pirats Art Network, Odyssey, BOSL, Art place d-oo-b, Nordan Art, S&S Gallery of Fine SL Art, The Workhouse Gallery, project Z, Phi Designs, Tornado Gallery & UWA.

The ten winners shown here will go straight to the Grand Finale round, but please visit the UWA BLOG (http://uwainsl.blogspot.com/) for a full list of winners as well as a list of the many people who have donated time and talents to enrich the SL art experience.
